I just finished a "Sell Your Story" marketing film for the fine artist, Sarah Bush. She was a joy to work with and I loved helping her find and express her compelling story in an emotionally resonant way that will help her engage new clients.
Sarah's thoughts about the impermanence of life permeates everything she does. Life to her is made up of layers of loss and renewal; a constant back and forth between the two. Without one you can't have the other. Her work focuses on combining layers of things that, to her, are representative of life and which usually have some kind of history attached to them. So, in addition to using an artist's traditional tools, such as paint and charcoal, she uses elements from the real world such as remnants from old quilts, dried flowers, feathers, gravestone rubbings, pages ripped out of a book, etc. This film shows her passion for expressing the complexity of life through her own creations.
