Worldwide Orphans Foundation
in Haiti After the 2010 Earthquake
This film was shot while traveling with the World Wide Orphans Foundation in Haiti in April 2010, 2 months after the earthquake that devastated the country. The two board members who were traveling with the organization are featured as a way to drum up support from potential funders. The film was shown at numerous fundraising events and as an integral part of WWO's online outreach strategy following the earthquake.
One day a year, on Halloween, the main street in Maplewood, NJ, is closed off from traffic for 3 hours giving children the chance to take back the streets. I shot this film as if I was one of the young kids taking in the happenings around me: always moving, always looking, never staying in one place for very long. It was a good day. This film is used by the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce as part of their marketing campaign to attract people to visit and move to the community.
